A little background of how I was guided to this point in my dance career.

I began training in dance when I was 2 1/2 years old. My education is broad as I’ve trained in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Modern, African, partnering, and Musical Theatre. I was fortune to train under wonderful broadway veterans who guided me performing as a kid, and stayed present in my life as mentors for building a career. They nurtured my talent by providing opportunities to choreograph and lead at a young age. Starting at age 13, I created choreography for the children’s performance group, The Westchester Dreamcoats. We would perform these numbers at charity events such as the Ronald McDonald House and Make a Wish Foundation events. I then choreographed my first full production at age 15, for Saw Mill Summer Theatre. After graduating Penn State’s BFA Musical Theatre Program, I toured the country with the Broadway show “A Chorus Line’ under the direction and choreography of original cast member, Baayork Lee. I played my dream role of Diana Morales and was honored to teach masterclasses across the country while I was touring.

A few years later, I was presented with the opportunity to join a creative team as the Resident Director/Choreographer for the Broadway show “After Midnight” (Tony Award winner for Best Choreography - 2014) for Norwegian Cruise Line. I mounted 8 companies of the show, working with performing icons such as Marva Hicks, Sharon Wilkins, Melinda Doolittle (American Idol), and legendary Tony Award Winner, Melba Moore. I then took on and mounted 6 companies of the productions, "¡Havana!” / “Palace of Lights” for NCL. I conceived, co-created, co-directed and choreographed a successful workshop of a dance narrative production for NCL called “Whiskey and Rye”. I’ve had the honor to be associate choreographer for Roundabout Theatre Co.’s 51st Gala, assisted for an evening of Jazz at Lincoln Center, choreographed for corporate events, music videos and more! All of these gigs have given me the greatest gift… experience. And what I have discovered is that you must say YES to the things that terrify you. Stay open to the lessons that are presented, and be patient with yourself and those around you. I hope to spark inspiration in others as the people I’ve met have helped me remain inspired.
